This is our moment, promises of a new beginning; we're all here to share. We walk on water, touch the sky, taking off and we'll fly, rising to the sun.

Got to let it go, let it overflow, ready to explode, <html> code. I got fire deep inside, and I know I wanna feel it. I'm about to lose my mind, constant pressure can't contain it. Constant pressure can't contain it, constant pressure can't contain. Got to let it go, let it overflow, ready to explode, <html> code. Caught up in the flashing lights, feel the rhythm in our body. In an everlasting night, we don't think about tomorrow. We don't think about tomorrow, 'cos today is all we've got. Leave your things and drink your sorrow, let it go, don't ever stop. Fly! Letting go, in my mind, there's no space and time. I am free, free to fly. Gonna leave the world behind. Unending, we're transcending our limitations, I am letting go...

about

BOREAL SUN is a collaboration between vocalist Liselotte Östblom
and producer/multi-instrumentalist Matt Roberts. Formed in
London, UK, BOREAL SUN showcases the very best talent of the
city’s thriving jazz, groove and independent music scenes. Their
debut EP ‘Dawn’ features contributions from bassist/producer Robin Mullarkey (Brotherly, Jacob Collier), saxophonist Emma Rawicz, percussionist Yahael Camara Onono (Balimaya Project), drummer Josh Blackmore (Troyka, SiZE) and many more.

The project combines syncopated grooves, sweeping
orchestrations, uplifting vocal hooks, powerful lyrical themes and
explorative improvisations. The result is a rich, captivating sonic
landscape that speaks to the breadth of influences that have
informed the duo. Influences that range from the 1970’s fusion
excursions of Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, to London’s Broken Beat and Acid Jazz movements of the 1990’s. But make
no mistake, BOREAL SUN present an unmistakably contemporary
sound, with a unique scope and depth of musicality.
